Seerum Silambam Traditional and Sports Association of India, Tamil Nadu, India, set a record for organising the longest Silambam marathon by a group. A group of 6 participants performed Silambam for 12 hours, which started at 6 am and ended at 6 pm, at Don Bosco Matric School, Erukkanchery, Chennai on December 5, 2021.
