Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited set the record for First Solar PV System in A Metro Rail Project for Integrated Consumption at the Nagpur Metro Rail Project, Maharashtra, India. The Solar PV system installed at the metro stations has generated more than 38 Lakh units of renewable energy and has also achieved carbon offset equivalent to offset achieved by 2.36 Lakh matured trees till March 31, 2022.
