Vijay Shesherao Gavane (born on October 11, 1978) of Maharashtra, India, along with his two friends, set a record for performing the fastest north to south expedition on a bicycle. They completed 3550 km on a bicycle expedition in 14 days, 20 hours and 40 minutes started on December 24, 2021 at 6.20 am from Srinagar, travelled through Udhampur, Nakodar, Fatehpur, Aurangabad, Bangalore and ended their expedition at 3.00 am in Kanyakumari on January 8, 2022, as confirmed on January 29, 2022.
