Ramraj Cotton, Tamil Nadu, India, set a record for ‘Largest Pookkalam Display Created Using Dhotis’. On August 9, 2026, a large sized Pookkalam (measuring 707 sq. ft.) was created and displayed at Forum Mall, Kochi, using about 3000 dhotis. The vibrant display attracted visitors and celebrated the rich heritage of Kerala while presenting the traditional garment in an innovative and visually striking manner, as confirmed on Aug 18, 2026.
