Hitendra Ghosh (born on October 26, 1950) of Maharashtra, India, set a record for achieving the maximum number of awards for sound recording. Being a sound recorder, he won 20 awards for sound recording in several Bollywood films, including Junoon, Kalyug, Ek Pal, Rang de Basanti and many others; the Lifetime Achievement Award from IRAA (Indian Recording Arts Academy), National film Awards, Zee Cine Awards, IFFA Awards, Kodak Award for excellence in sound and others from the years 1979 to 2012, as confirmed on July 15, 2024.
