Akshaj Udaiwal (born on May 4, 2015) of Andhra Pradesh, India (currently residing in Muscat, Oman), set a record for being the youngest to climb Mt. Nangakarshang. He started the trek on April 22, 2022 and reached Mt. Nangakarshang (located in Nepal at an altitude of 5,077 m) on April 28, 2022, under the guidance of a trekking guide Lt. Col Romil Barthwal at the age of 6 years, 11 months and 28 days, as confirmed on May 28, 2022.
