Mumbai Police of Mumbai, Maharashtra set a record for participating in the maximum number of people in a cycle rally. A total number of 5225 participants cycled 95.65 km for 4 hours on June 5, 2022. The cycle rally was organised to reduce carbon emissions by vehicles on the occasion of ‘World Environment Day’,’75 years of Indian Independence’, (Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav) and ‘Sunday Streets’, as confirmed on June 14, 2022.
