Gurumurthy Matarangimath (born on December 25, 1959) of Karnataka, India, set a record for being the oldest to cycle 50 km daily for one hundred days. He cycled 50 km daily for 100 days, covering a total distance of 5,000 km from May 11, 2023 to August 18, 2023 to promote cycling among the youth, at the age of 63 years, 9 months and 2 days, as confirmed on October 14, 2023.
