Leslie Harris of New Zealand set a record for being the oldest competitive motorcycle racer. Aged 98-years, he raced at the Pukekohe 43rd Classic Motorcycle Festival in Auckland, in the Regularity race in which the aim is to perform the most consistent lap times. He competed alongside his eldest son, Rod, aged 64, and his 21-year-old granddaughter, Olivia, as confirmed on March 4, 2024.
