M.S. Gowrimai (born on May 8, 1974) of Tamil Nadu, India set a record for performing Bharatnatyam relay dance by maximum teams. A total of 25 teams performed Bharatnatyam dance at Malli Vidhyalaya High School, on January 8, 2023. The performance started at 7:10 am and continued till 9:35 wherein each team having at least 10 participants danced in any one of the four jathis; Puspanjali, Gowthuvam, Patham, Kollatam, Bharathiar song in 20 minutes.
