Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog, set a record for the maximum number of students participating in tinkering activity in a day. On August 12, 2025, a total of 4,73,350 students from 9467 different schools simultaneously participated in a hands-on project aimed at designing and building a DIY vacuum cleaner. The activity was guided by a step-by-step instructional session streamed online, enabling students to learn scientific concepts and collaborate with one another, as confirmed on August 30, 2025.
