Dr. B.R.Hiremath (born on August 3,1969) KSES Deputy Commissioner of Excise (Bengaluru Urban District 6) of Karnataka, India, set a record for the participation of the maximum number of people in a drug awareness walkathon. He supported the Karnataka State Excise Department, in association with M. Square Networks and the National Service Scheme, on the occasion of the ‘International Drug Awareness Day’ at Shree Kanteerava Stadium (Bengaluru) on June 26, 2022, wherein 15,000 people participated in the drug awareness walkathon, as confirmed on October 5, 2023.
