Sadguru Brahmeshanandacharya Swamiji, Peethadhishwar of Shree Datta Padmanabh Peeth, Goa, India, set the record for changing Janeu (sacred thread) by maximum people at a single place. A total of 5,202 devotees gathered and started to perform the Sanskar of changing Janeu at 11:30 am till 12:30 pm in Shree Kshetra Tapobhoomi, Kundaim, Ponda, Goa on August 30, 2023; the auspicious day of Shravana Nakshatra for changing the sacred thread by devotees which is one of the Shravani Sanskars, as confirmed on August 30,2023.
