P. Makeshwar (born on September 25, 1981) of Tamil Nadu, India, set a record for performing the maximum number of para jumps over high-altitude terrain in 24 hours. He performed five para jumps from 8 a.m. on October 12, 2024 to 8 a.m. on October 13, 2024 from an extreme high altitude of 15000 feet AGL (over Himalayan Terrain Drop Zone, Nyoma and Ladakh, at an elevation of 13,700 feet), as confirmed on June 23, 2025.
