Polash Protim Boruah (born on March 1, 2002) of Assam, India, set a record for painting the maximum number of Palash leaves with avatars of Lord Vishnu. He painted 24 dry Palash leaves (Flame of the Forest leaves) with 24 avatars of Lord Vishnu (each measuring 3 cm x 2.5 cm). The artwork is done by following the ancient manuscript form of painting of Assam using acrylic colours, as confirmed on October 31, 2022.
