Pharmed Limited of Karnataka, India, set a record for the ‘Maximum Gynaecologists Pledged to Combat Thyroid Disorders During Pregnancy via Iodine Fortification’. From September 1 to September 14, 2024, a total of 4064 gynaecologists across India pledged to combat thyroid disorders through iodine fortification. With 1 in 3 pregnant women in India affected by iodine deficiency, this initiative aims to raise awareness and promote iodine fortification to prevent thyroid complications during pregnancy, as confirmed on September 14, 2024.
