Maximum distance non-stop swimming by a specially abled teen

Eshwari Kamlesh Pande (born on October 7, 2009), a specially abled girl of Mumbai, India, set a record for maximum distance covered by non-stop swimming. Despite having a visual challenge (100% vision affected), she started swimming at 6.29 am in the morning from Elephanta Caves and ended at 10.32 am, swimming continuously for 4 hours and 3 minutes at the Gateway of India covering the total distance of 17 km, at the age of 14 years, 3 months and 28 days, as confirmed on February 4, 2024.
