Yadhavi Sports Academy for Special Needs, Chennai, India set the record for maximum distance covered in open sea swimming relay by children in autism spectrum. The children being in autism spectrum swam 89.09 nautical miles (165 km) in 43 hours and 55 minutes in the open sea from Silver Beach, Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu to Marina Beach, Chennai, under the coaching & guidance of Mr. Sathish Sivakumar, Yadhavi Sports Academy, for Special Needs Chennai between 1st Feb to 4th Feb, as confirmed on February 4, 2024.
