Dr. Dibyendu Roy (born on April 13, 1986), Onco Rehabilitation Consultant, Apex Multi-Specialty Hospital, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh India set the record for maximum cancer patients treated in one day. He and his team at the Cancer Rehabilitation Department, started at 5.00am on June 27, 2023 and ended at 11.15pm on same day. A total of 100 patients were treated for various cancer symptoms including Oral Mucositis, Scar Fibrosis, Trismus, Xerostomia, Lymphoedema, Chemo Induced Peripheral Neuropathies and many others in one day as confirmed on August 12, 2023.
