Kami Rita Sherpa of Nepal set a record for performing the maximum ascents of Mount Everest by a mountaineer. Mount Everest is the highest mountain in the world at 8,848.86 m (29,032 ft) above sea level. He has successfully summitted Everest for the 28th time in his mountaineering career, as confirmed on June 9, 2023.
