R. Aravind (born on April 4, 1988) of Tamil Nadu, India, set a record for performing the longest Silambam marathon, along with his partner. This feat of traditional Tamil martial art was held for 30 hours, 30 minutes and 30 seconds, and organised by South Indian Silambam Academy from 7:00 am on February 1, 2020, till 3:50 pm on February 2, 2020, with a five- minute break after every one hour, as confirmed on September 10, 2020.
