Paramvir Singh (born on July 28, 1975) of Tamil Nadu, India, set a record for completing the longest rafting expedition on Ganga, with nine other persons. The Ministry of Jal Shakti organised ‘Ganga Aamantran’, a River Rafting & Kayaking Expedition aimed at creating awareness about Ganga rejuvenation and water conservation. They started the expedition on October 10, 2019 and completed on November 12, 2019 covering 2600 km in 34 days in river rafting, as confirmed on February 28, 2022.
