Longest paper chain made

Butch Baker of North Carolina, USA set a record for making the longest paper chain.  In 1979, he started cutting and folding small pieces of paper into a chain to pass the time. He kept on making the paper chain for 40 years reaching nearly 25 miles in length and heavy enough to need floor reinforcement of his home, as confirmed on May 17, 2023.
