Van Thuy Tu Temple in the southern province of Binh Thuan’s Phan Thiet City of Vietnam holds the record for being the place that keeps the largest whale skeleton in Indochina. A skeleton of a whale measuring 22 metres in length and weighing 65 tonnes is on display here. Built in 1762, the temple has more than 100 purported whale skeletons with the oldest being a whale dating back to nearly 200 years, as confirmed on February 10, 2024.
