Chu Dau Ceramic Joint Stock Company set a record for possessing the largest plate with 1,000 ‘Long’ words on September 9, 2019.The plate, which is 115 m in diameter, has two dominant colours: the yellow of enamel and the blue of motif. The plate, with 1,000 ‘Long’ words, is handcrafted by ten Chu Dau pottery artisans and calligrapher Le Thien Ly through many stages in more than 200 days.1,000 ‘Long’ words written directly on the plate are also 1,000 sketches on human beings portrait such as a soldier holding the gun to protect Fatherland, a navy soldier with a boat and sea, a Hanoi girl, a flying dragon, a bird, a fish, a shrimp, a guitar and a flower, etc.
