Esashi Jinku World Record Executive Committee of Japan set a record for organising the largest fan dance event in Oshu, Iwate, Japan. A whopping number of 1,719 people participated in the dance in commemoration of the 50th annual Esashi Jinku Festival which has actually been around for around 300 years and always includes the dance. The dance itself has been around for about 500 years and was created for weddings, as confirmed on June 12, 2023.
