TATA Motor’s Ultra T.19 truck powered by Turbotronn 2.0 engine set a record for delivering highest fuel efficiency by a diesel powered medium commercial vehicle on Kolkata – Delhi stretch. Two 4×2 Trucks, with a company fitted 32 Ft container body and driven by a team of 6 drivers recorded highest average Fuel efficiency of 6.434047 Km/L over Kolkata – Delhi stretch (1360.8 kms) of the Golden Quadrilateral National Highway route in 27 hours 49 minutes, starting September 3, 2023 and ending September 4, 2023. The measured metrics are compared with the medium commercial vehicles in real world driving duty cycle, as confirmed on January 12, 2024.
