Highest Elevation Gain to Visit All States and Union Territories on a Bicycle

Mr. Vanlallawmzuala Varte of Mizoram, India, set a record for gaining the highest elevation to visit all the states and union territories on a bicycle. He started his ride to clean air on January 25, 2024 from Aizawl, Mizoram, and travelled across 28 states and 5 union territories, an elevation gain of 1,13,278 meters to spread awareness on air pollution; he completed it at Aizawl, Mizoram, on November 5, 2024. During this period, his actual riding days were 204, and he covered 17,474.38 km by bicycle to spread awareness about a clean and sustainable lifestyle, as confirmed on February 17, 2025.
