Chandan Nath (born on May 28, 1977) of Assam, India, set a record for making eco-friendly bamboo bottles. To spread the message ‘Shun Plastic bottles’, he made bamboo bottles with caps of different sizes to preserve water up to two litres or more. His novel approach was noticed when he distributed the bamboo bottles to tourists visiting the Kaziranga National Park as plastic bottles are not allowed inside the park, as confirmed on February 2, 2021.
