Members of the Sengkang East Youth Network, studying at Temasek Polytechnic, set a record for making the tallest Christmas tree of cardboard rolls at Rivervale CC, Singapore. They arranged with the school cleaners to collect toilet roll cores for several months and used them to erect a 3.15 metre tree decorated with recycled items like bottles, newspapers and bottle-caps for the Christmas Carnival, as confirmed on March 15, 2024.

Team MDI, in partnership with TS Group of Singapore, set a record for the maximum number of people having haircuts at one location. 43 volunteers provided free haircuts to a whopping number of 637 people at 10A Lorong Bistari, Singapore in 6 hours, as confirmed on March 15, 2024.

Laurie Koller of New York, USA, set a record for having the largest collection of mermaid-related items. Laurie owns a whopping number of 726 mermaid-related diverse collectibles including rugs, figurines, clothing, teapots, bookends, and more, which she has collected over a period of 37 years, as confirmed on March 15, 2024.

Skyryse, a company based in the USA, set a record by performing the first automated autorotation landing by a rotorcraft. They developed a fully automated emergency landing procedure that alleviates the pilot’s responsibility to safely land the aircraft in the event of engine failure, potentially reducing fatalities in aircraft crashes. The company has conducted dozens of automated autorotations, with the first fully automated procedure completed in an outfitted Robinson R66 at their Los Angeles-area facility, as confirmed on March 15, 2024.

Adwit Ghosh (born on March 17, 2019) of West Bengal, India, set a record for being the fastest to recall 100 opposite words blindfolded. He recalled 100 opposite words (antonyms) blindfolded in 1 minute, 19 seconds and 93 milliseconds, at the age of 5 years, 3 months and 10 days, as confirmed on July 3, 2024.

Alavala Aashman Ram (born on May 5, 2019) of Andhra Pradesh, India, set a record for being the fastest to recite the Shiva Lingashtakam. He recited the entire Shiva Lingashtakam (8 verses) in 57 seconds and 85 milliseconds, at the age of 5 years, 1 month and 9 days, as confirmed on June 19, 2024.

Archishman Sinha Roy (born on June 4, 2008) of West Bengal, India, set a record for playing the Tabla for the longest duration. He played the Tabla non-stop for 4 hours and 7 seconds, at the age of 15 years, 11 months and 4 days, as confirmed on May 29, 2024.

Kaveesh Praveen Surana (born on May 17, 2018) of Madhya Pradesh, India, set a record for recalling the maximum number of calendar days for one year in 5 minutes. He correctly recalled 107 calendar days for one year (using mental calculation) in 5 minutes by viewing the random dates of 2024 on a sheet of paper, at the age of 6 years, 1 month and 1 day, as confirmed on June 24, 2024.

Amaira Gupta (born on November 23, 2017) of New Delhi, India, set a record for identifying the maximum number of seeds. She identified 35 seeds of vegetables and fruits in 2 minutes and 17 seconds, at the age of 5 years, 4 months and 12 days, as confirmed on February 29, 2024.

Dr. Reshma Shaikh of EuroSchool, Kharadi, Pune, Maharashtra, India, also the Licensee and Curator of TEDxYouth@EuroSchoolKharadi, set a record for ‘Maximum Minors Participation on a TEDx Platform’. In a landmark event titled, TEDxYouth@EuroSchoolKharadi, organised on March 16, 2024 from 10 am to 5 pm at EuroSchool Kharadi, Pune, a total of 29 minor participants took part in various roles as Speakers, Performers, Hosts and Volunteers and became a part of the large event, as confirmed on June 11, 2024.
