Satheesh Gopinathu (born on March 21, 1985) of Kerala, India, is titled as ‘Grand Master’ for completing a 70.3-mile (113.14 km) triathlon (featuring a 1.9 km swim, a 90 km cycle ride and a 21.1 km run) 3 times in 24 hours on December 1, 2024 from 12 am to 11.59 pm at Dubai, as confirmed on January 4, 2025.

Sri Chamundeshwari Basavapparavara Punyakshetra in Ramanagara, Karnataka, India, set a record for the ‘Tallest Idol of Goddess Sri Chamundeshwari Made Using Different Metals’. The tallest idol measuring 36 feet in height, is crafted from an alloy of copper, brass, gold, silver, and iron featuring 18 arms, each holding different weapons and symbolizing divine power and protection. The idol measuring 60-feet tall from the ground (including 24-feet pedestal) is located in the temple’s open courtyard. Thousands of devotees visit the temple to share their struggles and seek blessings from the Goddess, as confirmed on January 26, 2025.

Archana Yogesh Kulkarni of Sangli, Maharashtra, India, set a record ‘Maximum Number of Women Performed Moon Salutation at the Same Time.’ To do the yogic asanas, a total of 1,027 women came together and performed numerous moon salutations (Chandra Namaskar), where each salutation is a sequence of different yogic asanas that were performed in a definite sequence and required a base time of 50 seconds, as confirmed on February 9, 2025.

Vyom Kalpesh Patel (born on January 18, 2019) of Maharashtra, India, is titled as ‘Grand Master’ for running on a 400-metre synthetic athletic track in 2 minutes and 29 seconds, at the age of 5 years and 11 months, as confirmed on December 31, 2024.

I. Bheemanth (born on March 22, 2017) of Tamil Nadu, India, is titled as ‘Grand Master’ for recalling 37 abbreviations with full forms in one minute, at the age of 7 years and 9 months, as confirmed on January 16, 2025.

Nathan Serrao (born on December 13, 2019) of Maharashtra, India (currently residing in UAE), is titled as ‘Grand Master’ for solving and writing the answers of 50 addition and subtraction sums (consisting of single and double digits) on a sheet of paper in 4 minutes and 44 seconds, using a pencil, at the age of 4 years and 9 months, as confirmed on November 22, 2024.

Sherin Deena Gleeson (born on November 8, 1994) of Kerala, India, is titled as ‘Grand Master’ for writing the Indian Pledge in combined reverse and upside-down images in 4 minutes and 15 seconds, using pen and paper, as confirmed on January 23, 2025.

Tay Hui Chong (born on September 23, 1983) of Malaysia set a record for being the first person to give a talk on debt collection management using technology at a live webinar held on November 19, 2024, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, as confirmed on December 28, 2024.

Yadnesh Darshan Jeurkar (born on November 15, 2012) of Maharashtra, India, set a record for playing the Tabla for the longest duration. He played the Tabla for Teen Taal in different ‘Layas’ with multiple Kayadas, Relas, Tukdas, Chakradhar and Teehai for 1 hour, 26 minutes and 43 seconds at the age of 10 years, 3 months and 5 days, as confirmed on February 20, 2023.

Surja Handaka Vijjananda (born on June 22, 1971) of Jakarta, Indonesia, set a record for being the first to translate Pali Canon Books into Indonesian language. He started translating the 34 Pali Canon Books (the Pali Canon is a Buddhist holy book written in Pali) on September 1, 2018. Till date, he has translated 11 Pali books into Indonesian language, including Dhammapada, Theragāthā, Sutta Nipāta (ISBN: 978-60-28194-97-6) among others, which have been published by Indonesian Tipitaka Institute between October 31, 2021 and January 10, 2025, as confirmed on January 22, 2025.
