Raipur Police, Chhattisgarh, set a record for the maximum number of people signing a pledge on traffic safety in a day across a city was set by Raipur Police under the guidance of SSP Prashant Agrawal. The event ‘Sadak Suraksha Sankalp’ was conducted in Raipur, Chhattisgarh on January 1, 2022, wherein one lakh pledges were signed by the citizens. Police officers and a team of 300 volunteers from 15 NGOs were on the field to make the citizens aware of traffic and road safety rules, as confirmed on January 6, 2022.
