Dr. Shrikant Shinde Foundation, Mumbai, India, set a record for the Longest Indian National Flag Carried by a Human Chain. On 15 August 2026, the Foundation, along with over 100 organizations, organized the Vishwavikrami Tiranga Rally-Kalyan Loksabha – 2026 in Dombivli. Approximately 20,000 participants carried a magnificent 2,125-metre-long Tiranga, measuring 5 feet in width and covering 35,062.5 square feet. The rally commenced at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Chowk and concluded at Zenda Chowk – Swatantryaveer Savarkar, celebrating India’s Independence Day and setting a remarkable patriotic record, as confirmed on August 15, 2026.
