The Department of Tourism, Government of Rajasthan, set a record for The Maximum Participation in The Ghoomar Festival Across Multiple Locations. A total of 6100 women participated in celebrating the state’s iconic folk dance tradition. As part of a state-wide cultural initiative, the festival was hosted in seven cities to encourage wider public involvement. With the participation of the maximum number of people, the event highlighted Rajasthan’s rich intangible heritage, boosted cultural tourism, and provided a platform to honour traditional performing arts, as confirmed on November 19, 2025.
