The record for maximum number of people screened for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease was set by Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd, India. A total of 63,489 people were screened across all geographies in India held from September 21, 2025 to September 27, 2025. The activity aimed to spread awareness about lung health using a peak flow meter that helps to measure peak expiratory flow rate & monitor lung health. It helps to facilitate early diagnosis and appropriate management of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, as confirmed on September 30, 2025.
