NIPS Institute of Hotel Management, West Bengal, India set a record for maximum varieties of biryani prepared in a single culinary marathon. Spearheaded by a passionate team of chefs and culinary students, the event brought together 109 biryanis from traditional regional styles and international adaptations to health-conscious, millet-based, and fusion innovations. This event was a testament to professional teamwork, and creativity elevating biryani beyond a dish into a symbol of unity, flavour, and culinary excellence that will continue to inspire generations of chefs, as confirmed on August 14, 2025.
