Rotary International District 3262, Odisha, India, set a record for the largest number of students gathering to celebrate parental respect and gratitude. On June 23, 2025, Rotary International celebrated ‘Matru Pitru Bandana’ Utsav under the leadership of District Governor Rtn Yagyansis Mohapatra, where 1,420 students worshipped their parents on a single platform within 90 minutes, accompanied by the chanting of mantras and explanations by Brahmins. The event aimed to raise awareness among young students about traditional and cultural heritage, as confirmed on June 30, 2025.
