Sarhad College of Arts, Commerce, and Science, Pune, India set a record ‘Most Aloe Vera Plants Planted in Biodegradable Pots by Females’. A total of 1518 female students in the age group of 16-28 years planted 10750 Aloe vera plants in eco-friendly pots in 30 minutes and later distributed them among students and women stakeholders. Known for its benefits in digestion, hormonal balance, and skincare, Aloe vera is also considered to be purifying air. The campaign, held at Sarhad College grounds, aims to promote environmental awareness and women’s health, as confirmed on September 21, 2024.
