Siyad Kallayil of Kerala, India (now residing in UAE), set a record for being the fastest to travel across GCC countries, along with his friend. They started their car expedition from Kuwait Towers (Kuwait) at 12.02 am (Kuwait Local Time) on October 19, 2023, travelled across Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, UAE, and completed it at Khasab Musandam (Oman) at 10.54 pm (Kuwait Local Time) the same day, covering a distance of 1,763 km in 22 hours and 52 minutes, as confirmed on February 6, 2024.
