Geng Teng Raj, a calligrapher, of China, set a record for creating the biggest handwritten gold book. Fully funded by the Fourth Deqin Jamo Tenzin Geng Teng Sambu Rinpoche, he used liquid gold as raw material to write the “Lam rim chen mo” and “Sngags rim chen mo” by hand and combined them into a book. The 999-page book measured 80 centimetres long, 30 centimetres wide and 49 centimetres thick, as confirmed on December 6, 2023.
