Benjamin Von Wong (born on November 14, 1986) of Ontario, Canada, set a record for making the largest sculpture using plastic straws. To raise awareness of plastic pollution, he made the sculpture on a theme ‘parting of the plastic sea’, using 1,68,000 plastic straws, featuring 8 metre long and 3.3 metre tall waves, displayed at Estella place in Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam, as confirmed on December 16, 2022.
