WORLD’S LIGHTEST AND SMALLEST SATELLITE

Rifath Sharook, Pallapati born “Lead Scientist” of “Space Kidz India”,supported by team Yagna Sai, Vinay Bharadwaj, Tanishq, Mohammed Kaasif and Gobinath, designed ‘KALAM SAT’- The World’s Lightest,Smallest Satellite(0.1kg and 3.8cms in size) respectively, as part of the competition – ” Cubes in Space,” organized by idoodle learning inc, along with Colarado Space Grant Consortium.
Space Kidz India’s, Femtosat – titled “Kalam Sat”, was chosen to fly from NASA , Wallops – Virginia facility on the 22nd June 2017.This will be the first time Indian student’s experiment will be flown by NASA.
