Mahanthi Srinivasa Rao (born on January 19, 1968) of Andhra Pradesh, India, set a record for making the maximum number of holy visits to the temple on foot. He performed 258 Sopanamargam (foot route to the shrine) to the Venkateswara Temple in Tirumala from 1996 to 2020 through Alipiri footpath route and the oldest footpath way, Sri Vari Mettu, as confirmed on March 13, 2020.
