]]> Vikaash Kumar Selvakumar Mythili (born on April 19, 2007) of Tamil Nadu, India set the record for being the youngest to develop an innovative Safety Helmet for Miners. He developed a composite safety helmet measuring 54cm x 55cm head circumference for miners using luffa fibre and glass fibre using compression moulding technique. The helmet is light weight and incorporated with various smart sensors which detects hazardous events and secures the life of miners in mining industries. He also received the winner certificate from smart India hackathon 2022, as confirmed on March 30, 2024.
