]]> Wing Commander P. Makeshwar (born on September 25, 1981) of Tamil Nadu, India, set a record for performing the longest duration of a freefall tandem skydive. Being an Indian Air Force (IAF) skydiver and a certified ‘Tandem Master’, he performed a continuous tandem skydive freefall, from an aircraft at an exit altitude of 18,230 feet AGL, along with a passenger, for a duration of 73 seconds, at Cuttack (Odisha) on December 11, 2025. The parachute was deployed at an altitude of 5380 feet AGL, as confirmed on March 25, 2026.
