IBR-Produced Film “Vườn Tình Yêu – Prem Ki Surdhara” Wins Best International Film Award

The India Book of Records production “Vườn Tình Yêu – Prem Ki Surdhara” has achieved international acclaim by winning the Best International Film Award at the 8^th Haryana International Film Festival, held at Kurukshetra University on March 25, 2026 – emerging as a powerful testament to the enduring cultural ties between India and Vietnam.

The prestigious award was presented to Prof. Dr. Chu Bao Que – Honorary Doctor, professor, artist, and Chairman of the Policy and Development Consultative Council of the Vietnam Federation of UNESCO Associations – by Swami Shri Gyananand Ji Maharaj, a revered spiritual guru and founder of the Shri Krishna Kripa Seva Samiti and GIEO GITA.

Also present were – Mr. Som Nath Sachdeva, Vice-Chancellor of Kurukshetra University; Justice Lalit Batra, Chairman of the Haryana Human Rights Commission; Mr. Walid Hasbi, Cultural Ambassador of Morocco; Dr Nguyen Hoang Anh (Julia), General Secretary of the World Records Union and Permanent Vice-Chairwoman of the Vietnam Records Organization; Mrs. Hoang Thu Hang, Head of the Culture Department at the Sports and Culture Newspaper, Vietnam News Agency; Artist Chu Thuy Hang, Head of the UNESCO Vietnam Folk Arts Group; Artist Nguyen Thu Trang, Deputy Head of the UNESCO Vietnam Folk Arts Group; Mr. Dharmender Dangi, the organiser of the film festival; and Mr. Vikas Sharma – among others – all of whom contributed to strengthening cultural ties at the event.

Dr. Biswaroop Roy Chowdhury, Chief Editor of the India Book of Records, also graced the occasion and presented copies of the India Book of Records 2026 Edition to esteemed dignitaries and distinguished guests.

Cinema as Cultural Diplomacy

Addressing the audience, Prof. Dr. Chu Bao Que eloquently described cinema as more than just an art form – it is a bridge between cultures. Through “Vườn Tình Yêu – Prem Ki Surdhara,” he emphasised the team’s mission to revive the ancient cultural connections between Vietnam and India, rooted in shared philosophies, traditions, and spiritual heritage spanning thousands of years.

He highlighted a central message of the film: heritage remains alive only when it is shared, preserved, and continuously reimagined. The project, he noted, is not merely about honouring history but about inspiring future generations to embrace and carry forward their cultural legacy. As two of the world’s oldest civilisations, Vietnam and India have a unique responsibility to lead this global cultural dialogue.

A Global Stage of Artistic Excellence

The four-day festival showcased 80 internationally acclaimed films across multiple languages, drawing filmmakers, artists, media and cinema enthusiasts from around the world. The strong presence of Vietnamese delegates underscored the event’s international significance.

The festival’s organiser, Mr. Dharmender Dangi, extended a warm welcome to international guests through a traditional Haryanvi dance performance. This cultural exchange was beautifully reciprocated by Vietnamese and Indian students, who presented a vibrant Vietnamese dance, creating a harmonious blend of traditions on stage.

A Cultural Bridge Between Nations

The film is part of the Indo-Vietnam Cultural Heritage Exchange Program, an initiative dedicated to fostering mutual understanding and preserving shared heritage. As part of this broader effort, “Guardian of Heritage,” a book authored by Dr. Biswaroop Roy Chowdhury was released in February 2025 in New Delhi and subsequently in Vietnam.

Directed by Biswadeep Roy Chowdhury, with cinematography by Vimal Mishra, the film uses symbolic storytelling, music, and layered imagery to explore shared spiritual and cultural values. It presents a “garden of memory,” where love, identity, and heritage intertwine in a visually poetic narrative.

Dr. Chowdhury, in his keynote address, highlighted the significance of amusement parks in children’s development. A New Milestone in the Indo–Vietnam Cultural Heritage Exchange Program

The India Book of Records (IBR) takes immense pride in announcing that the Brand Ambassador of the Indo–Vietnam Cultural Heritage Exchange Program, Prof. Chu Bao Que, has achieved yet another milestone this month in Japan as part of his mission to protect and promote cultural heritage across different countries. Upon his return from Japan, he was honoured in Vietnam by the Government of Vietnam in recognition of this achievement. On this occasion, a book on his works was also released. We are proud that the Brand Ambassador of the Indo–Vietnam Cultural Heritage Program – an initiative of the India Book of Records – is consistently taking significant steps to protect and promote cultural heritage globally.

As part of this series, the book The Guardian of Heritage authored by Dr Biswaroop Roy Chowdhury was released by IBR earlier this year in New Delhi, and soon after, the Vietnamese edition of The Guardian of Heritage (Người Bảo Tồn Di Sản) was officially released in Hanoi, Vietnam.

A feature film titled Vuon Tinh Yeu – Prem Ki Surdhara is also being produced by IBR and is scheduled for release in the first week of April 2026. Both the book and the film are based on the life and the contribution of Prof. Chu Bao Que in protecting and promoting the Indo–Vietnam Cultural Heritage Exchange.

On September 21, 2025, Indian delegates were honoured at the prestigious Grand Records Ceremony held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This recognition celebrated the collaborative efforts between India and Vietnam in promoting cultural exchange and safeguarding traditions.

From October 2–5, 2025, a four-day Vietnamese Cultural Dance Training Camp was organized at the India Book of Records Head Office in Faridabad. The camp was conducted by expert UNESCO-affiliated Vietnamese dancers, who provided intensive training to selected participants. This initiative offered young talents the opportunity to learn intricate dance techniques and immerse themselves in the rich cultural heritage of Vietnam, fostering deeper cultural understanding and artistic excellence.

This exclusive dance training was led by distinguished Vietnamese artists affiliated with UNESCO, under the expert guidance of Prof. Chu Bao Que, a revered figure in cultural arts and the brand ambassador of this project.

The program, directed by Dr. Nguyen Hoang Anh (Julia), Artist Chu Thị Hằng, and Artist Nguyễn Thu Trang, selected 16 children aged 13 to 17 from various schools who demonstrated exceptional talent in dance. These young performers received personalized instruction, learning intricate techniques and cultural nuances that define Vietnamese dance traditions.

On October 24, 2025, Dr. Biswaroop Roy Chowdhury, Chairman of the World Records Union, received the Golden Board Award from the Vietnam Federation of UNESCO Associations during a cultural exchange program and Vietnamese Mother Goddess worship heritage preservation activities held in India. The award was presented by Mr. Trần Văn Mạnh, Vice President of the Asia–Pacific Federation of UNESCO Clubs and Associations, at an event in Hanoi, which was also attended by Mr. Tạ Quang Đông, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Vietnam.

The next activity in this series will be jointly organized by UNESCO and IBR in Vietnam, where Indian dancers will have the opportunity to perform and teach Indian cultural dance, while also learning Vietnam’s rich cultural dance heritage.

Dr. Biswaroop Roy Chowdhury, Chief Editor of the Asia Book of Records and Chairman of the World Records Union, was the Special Guest of Honour at the 3rd Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Record Association (2025–2030). The landmark event took place on June 21, 2025, at the Tan Son Nhat Pavillon Convention Center, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Bringing together esteemed national and international dignitaries, the Congress celebrated innovation, collaboration, and the enduring human spirit of achievement. Over the course of three hours, the event reviewed the accomplishments of the 2019–2024 term and outlined strategic directions for 2025–2030. Elections were held for the Executive, Inspection, and Standing Committees, alongside leadership appointments aligned with Vietnam’s evolving landscape.

This edition held special significance as the first major assembly following the passing of Mr. Le Tran Truong An, the visionary founder of the Vietnam Records Organization, in July 2024. His foundational leadership was honoured during the Congress, with Prof. Dr. Hoang Quang Thuan now steering the Association forward with a renewed global perspective.

The event saw participation from delegates representing Vietnamese ministries, international record associations, and distinguished guests. Dr. Chowdhury congratulated Dr. Thuan and celebrated exemplary record holders, reinforcing the growing cultural and institutional bonds between India and Vietnam in the realm of record recognition.

In a gesture of ongoing camaraderie, the Asia Book of Records reaffirmed its support for the Vietnam Book of Records, symbolically reserving a room and seat at its corporate office for Dr. Thuan and Dr. Nguyen Hoang Anh, upholding a tradition of honour and respect.

The Vietnam Record Association Congress 2025 marked a resounding step toward unity, legacy, and international cooperation in the world of record-making.

The Congress lasted over three hours, encompassing comprehensive rituals, with the objectives of summarizing the work of the second term (2019-2024), outlining the Association’s strategic direction for the third term (2025-2030), electing the Executive Committee, Inspection Committee, and Standing Committee, as well as appointing leadership positions within the Association appropriate for the forthcoming period in the context of the Vietnam’s advancement.

During this significant event, four exemplary individuals and organizations were also felicitated by Dr. Biswaroop Roy Chowdhury for their contributions in education, culture, and bonsai artistry.

IBR Announces Film on Indo-Vietnam Cultural Heritage

“Vuon Tinh Yeu – प्रेम की सुरधारा”

To enhance Indo-Vietnam cultural exchange, the India Book of Records has taken the initiative to produce the world’s first film focused on Indo-Vietnam cultural heritage. This film aims to bring to light the rich cultural connections that existed between India and Vietnam over a thousand years ago.

The official announcement and location survey took place in Hanoi on June 19, 2025. The film will be shot across various locations in Vietnam and India. A team from the India Book of Records conducted the initial survey of filming sites in Vietnam on the same day.

The India Book of Records will serve as the producer of the film, under the leadership of its Chief Editor, Dr. Biswaroop Roy Chowdhury. Mr. Vimal Mishra will direct the film, while Mr. Biswadeep Roy Chowdhury will take on the roles of Creative Director and Scriptwriter.

The film is based on the book “The Guardian of Heritage”, a biography of renowned Vietnamese folk artist Prof. Dr. Chu Bao Que. Through this project, the team aims to promote the shared cultural history of India and Vietnam and present their ancient heritage to a global audience.
The film is scheduled for release on February 14, 2026.

The film will be officially announced in India during a press conference on July 24, 2025, at 12:00 noon at the Constitution Club, New Delhi, in the presence of artists and dignitaries from both India and Vietnam.

The India Book of Records is producing this film with the primary objective of promoting Indo-Vietnam cultural exchange, creating opportunities for Indian cultural artists to showcase their talents not only in Vietnam but also on global platforms. As part of this initiative, the India Book of Records also intends to offer roles and recognition in the film to its record holders who have made significant contributions in the fields of cultural heritage and music.

Wildlife Conservation Day: Be The Change You Want To See

Humankind was introduced into this world after thousands of cycles of evolution. What is termed as ‘human’ is just a derivation of the word ‘Homo sapiens’, the biological term to refer to the creed of animals who have advanced social and mental skills. Humans, are also animals, evolved to have the liberties like cognitive thinking, verbal feedback, and heightened mental capacity than our evolutionary ancestors.

However, the liberty to voice opinions, pains, and sufferings is not something that other species have. Hence, as the higher evolutionary species, it is our responsibility of all humans to conserve and look after those who cannot on their own. Today, on December 4, 2024, Asia Book of Records would like to wish you all a motivated Wildlife Conservation Day.

Conservation of Endangered Species Around the World

World Governments and the United Nations Development Program are all devoted towards the protection and conservation of endangered species. Restrictive measures are taken by the UNDP to fight against illegal wildlife trade, hunting, and trafficking. Many private organisations like WILDLABS are also actively involved in wildlife conservation, monitoring biodiversity and resolving arising conflicts between man and the wild. Jackson Wild is also a prominent advocate for wildlife conservation, through hosting the World Wildlife Day Showcase.

His initiative inspires Global audiences to take a step towards conservation of wildlife. International Fund for Animal Welfare is another example of initiatives set in place to motivate individuals to promote protective measures for wildlife.

Some Wildlife Conservation Success Stories

Asia Book of Records has some exceptional wildlife conservationists who have showcased their love for wild fauna. Dr. Ramesh Kumar P, an IFS Officer, organised the participation of 8,410 people in a Wildlife Awareness Program. Deepti Madhav Deshmukh has showcased her zeal and affection towards animals by treating and rescuing more than 20,000 injured and stray animals. Vanita Borade is the first female snake rescuer of India has also added her name in the stars for rescuing and releasing more than 51,000 snakes in their natural habitat, preventing them from getting killed.

Prateek Agarwal made an addition to the record books by clicking the maximum number of pictures of the one-horned rhinoceros in their natural habitat. Dr. Sudhir Hasamnis took this even further by posting 2,557 pictures of wild animals and biodiversity on social media for 2,557 consecutive days.

What can be done for a better future for wildlife?

Asia Book of Records has many wildlife conservationists, advocates, wildlife photographers, and animal lovers in our database.
